ABOUT YOUR PROVIDER

Richard Derrick, MSN, CRNA

I started as a Critical Care Technician at Saint George Regional Hospital working in the emergency department, while getting my nursing degree from Dixie State University. From there, I worked as an ICU nurse and continued my undergraduate studies at the University of Utah. Finally, I earned my Masters in Nurse Anesthesia (MSN) from Keiser University in Naples, Florida.

I have had experience as a CRNA working in surgery and endoscopy centers, level 1, level 2, and level 3 trauma hospitals. This was in many different locations from Florida, Virginia, and to the great state of Utah. This broad experience at different levels of care has helped increase my passion to help others. It also qualifies me to deliver efficient and safe anesthesia and accommodate multiple types of anesthesia needs.

I love anesthesia and find great satisfaction in seeing each patient as a unique individual, as well as tailoring their anesthesia needs specifically to them. The reward that comes as people’s anxiety subsides, pain is controlled, and discomfort decreases makes this profession very fulfilling. Please feel free to browse this website or contact me with any questions or scheduling.
